PROFESSIONAL

I am an interdisciplinary data scientist with a Ph.D. in environmental, wildlife, and human health sciences, with expertise in environmental, toxicological, and human health statistical data analysis. I specialize in transforming complex scientific and regulatory datasets into actionable insights that support risk assessment, public health, and environmental decision-making.

My experience exists at the intersection of environmental science, clinical/health data, and advanced analytics—supporting projects involving environmental contamination, endocrine disruption, and human, wildlife, and ecological risk.

Core strengths include:

➡️ Environmental and human health risk assessment analytics and policy analysis
➡️ Statistical programming and data science (R, RShiny, SQL, PowerBI, etc.)
➡️ Analysis of large-scale environmental and clinical datasets
➡️ Data and database management, digital solutions and analytics
➡️ Data modeling, cleaning, and reproducible workflows |
➡️ Translating scientific data into regulatory and policy insights
➡️ Applied data analytics and digital strategy techniques to support outreach, engagement, and policy initiatives

I bring experience across academic research and consulting, including work in environmental remediation (air, soil, groundwater, surface water, etc.), land use, and impact analysis, with a strong foundation in endocrine disruption, toxicology and comparative physiology.

I am particularly interested in roles that apply data science to:

➡️ Comparative and Human Endocrinology and Physiology
➡️Environmental risk, exposure, and regulatory science
➡️ Clinical and public health data, epidemiology, ecology, ecophysiology
➡️ Public health and environmental justice

I am open to opportunities in environmental consulting, regulatory agencies, academia, biotech/pharma, public health agencies, and mission-driven organizations using data to improve human health and environmental outcomes.

• Environmental/Ecological Data Scientist / Risk Assessment (EPA, DOE, USGS, etc.)

• Health / Clinical Data Scientist (NIH, CDC, FDA, etc.)

• Lead data analysis and modeling efforts in support of environmental and human health risk assessments involving contaminated air, water, and soil systems
• Provide data management and quantitative analysis of environmental chemical pollutants in groundwater, soil, sediment, and soil vapor for environmental investigations and remediation operations
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis of left-censored chemistry data using NADA R package
• Perform verification and validation of organic and inorganic analytical chemistry data against established criteria set by federal, state, and local environmental regulatory agencies
• Projects include Superfund remediation, NEPA/EIS, energy, mining, U.S. DoD military operations, power transmission, and transportation for both private and public sectors
• Manage, access, and mine enterprise-level databases (e.g., EQuIS, ERPIMs, SQL Server)
• Provide data deliverables, technical reports, and report-writing support by generating appropriate graphs, charts, and tables

• Member of Environmental Remediation and Information Management Solutions Group

• AECOM Professional Technical Reviewer - Statistical Analysis
